After over 30 years involved in pole vaulting plus coaching, FiberSport poles are our new favorite, because of their durability and smooth ride. Of course it helps when you get back a new PR! As parents and coaches we love FiberSport's reputation as a pole that won't break. This prevents injuries and saves money in the long run. Important for schools, when pole budgets are inconsistent. Please CONTACT HOLLY a California FiberSport pole dealer, or call or text 858-722-6298 to inquire about Fibersport poles or all their other track equipment. Note every athlete, parent, coach, and spectator should know proper care for poles, as a spike scratch or dent from a standard puts any brand pole at risk of breaking. So please store poles in a safe place, avoid stepping on poles (especially with spikes), use poles only for vaulting, avoid poles hitting solid objects (and vice versa), use pole racks or a hurdle to rest top end of pole on when competing or practicing, travel with poles in a proper pole bag or tube. Then always inspect poles before use. If a scratch over 1/16" deep is present on the fiberglass of a pole, it should no longer be vaulted on. If a scratch only goes through the tape, a pole should be fine. |
